Rockville Bridge
Tim Garner, opaque watercolor, 1987, 30" x 12"
There is often lots of activity at this busy junction along the Susquehanna River north of Harrisburg. To the left, Tuscan red EP20 diesels lead an eastbound passenger train. In the center, an M1b 4-8-2 locomotive leads an empty coal train westbound back toward the mines. On the right, an L1s 2-8-2 locomotive with a cabin car out of Enola Yard waits to head across the river to Harrisburg to pick up cars from the Reading Railroad.
