Sunnyside Yard
Tim Garner, acrylic, 2005, 18" x 12"
Sunnyside Yard in Long Island, NY was billed as the world's largest passenger yard. In this facility, the PRR serviced trains dozens of trains every day. Painted as a mate to "As Mr. Leowy Intended," Tim shows us the observation of the 1938 "Broadway Limited" along with one of the PRR's business cars in the foreground and a standard green Pullman in the background.
