Snow at Tunnel Hill
Tim Garner, opaque watercolor, ca. 1978, 20" x 16"
It's winter at Tunnel Hill, PA in the Alleghenies around 1950. On the "Slide," a passenger train led by Baldwin-built BP20 passenger "Shark" diesels is heading east. Heading up the grade in the foreground are Electro-Motive Division E7 diesels – known on the PRR as EP20.
