North River Tubes, New York, N.Y. Postcard
This photo shows a DD1 with Electrified Zone Number 26 (probably made up of motors 3984 and 3985). The Juniata Shops in Altoona, Pa. completed this DD1 in 1910. Each unit had a Westinghouse 2000 horsepower 315-A DC motor. This postcard was postmarked on March 8, 1917 in Hartford, Conn. and was printed by Success Post Card Co. of New York.
